The Structure

What's not to like.  I discovered this 125+ year old one room school house on a visit to my brother's in Orwigsburg PA.  After gutting the main floor and adding sound proofing etc. I am left with a 34' Long 27.5' Wide  21' High at peak room.  I have also created one isolation booth for amps or vocals on the main floor.​
There is a 3 bedroom apartment in the lower level with a kitchen, full bath, dining room, living room and laundry.  You can book us on AirBnb

The Location

The Studio is located roughly 1 hour from Allentown, 30 minutes from Reading, 2 hours from the Statue Of Liberty and 1.75 hours from downtown Philadelphia.  It resides in Orwigsburg Pa. and is nestled in rolling hills with a beautiful view.  This is a location that inspires creativity.

About Me

My name is Paul Abel.  I grew up in southern Michigan and have been involved in music my entire life.   I attended Hillsdale College on a music scholarship.  I eventually left Hillsdale to finish at Musicians Institute in LA.   I returned to Hillsdale later and completed a BA in History.  While at Hillsdale the second time (1992 - 1994) I taught a 300 level Digital Music Production class for two years and ran their recording studio.
My first studio experience was in Denver 1983 and I have been involved at some level ever since.
