Patty PerShayla (also, Patty PerShayla and the Mayhaps)

"Paul is a joy to work with. The studio a musician’s playground, with great sounding gear for many different artistic expressions. My bass tone has never sounded better. Paul is great at setting up his studio environment to help channel the emotion I’m trying to get with each song. There’s space to move around, lots of instruments to try, all my favorite flavors of tea, and even adjustable atmospheric lighting in every room. Paul helped us build a timeline to focus on our recording goals and we met every mark. When we needed a day off, we would take a short drive to Hawk Mountain to hit reset. I’ve done two EP’s, livestreams, and a few videos at Jammin' Bear (formerly 'Angry Hobbit Studios') and I’ll be happy to return."

"Working with Paul was absolutely terrific. His hospitality is next to none, same goes for his attention to detail in the studio. The Man's commitment to the art of capturing quality audio was not only inspiring, but integral to the entirety of the recording process. Plus, he's a hell of a cook. I would love to work with him again."

Handsome John Pruit

"I hadn’t been in a pro studio in awhile and was a bit nervous, as my last effort, I didn’t feel that comfortable with a click track and the whole pro process. But walking into Jammin Bear (formerly Angry Hobbit) and meeting Paul and Keeper - what a vibe. Peaceful, scenic, chill environment. The space is very conducive to creativity. Very open. Gorgeous piano, countless guitars within arms reach to work out an idea when it strikes. Paul is an amazing musical mind and we are very lucky to have him as a key piece of the burgeoning music scene in Schuylkill County. His engineering skills and producing skills are paramount and he can help you bring your musical ideas to life. Rock on."
